Some say it's baseball, but I say it ain't.
Nonetheless, on the morning of April 21st, my Red Sox lead the AL East and my Cardinals top the NL Central. Even my Nationals, early in their inaugural season, are tied for first in the NL East.
(I grew up in Boston, went to college in St. Louis and currently reside in Washington).
In other words, I'm feeling good about "America's game" (no longer).
WebSurveyor is interested in bloggers' thoughts on the recent steroid scandals in Major League Baseball.
The blogger who refers the most participants to the Steroids in Baseball Online Survey will, according to an email I was recently sent, receive a Sony PSP.
Therefore, if you're so inclined, I'd appreciate it if you could take (just) a moment to complete the Steroids in Baseball Online Survey.
Understanding that ESPN provides this information free of charge, why WebSurveyor would be interested in bloggers' selections is beyond me. But they are.
They're offering the blogger who refers the most survey respondents to the Final Four Online Survey a free iPod. (I'd think this was a scam had WebSurveyor not received fairly good press of late. See here, here and here, for example. In particular, the PC Magazine review leads me to believe WebSurveyor is (probably) legit).
If you appreciate the Bloggers Bracket and the $85 in prize money ($50 for first place, $25 for second place and $10 for third place) I've agreed to award, take a moment to complete the survey. Otherwise, ignore this post and carry on.

BlogAds.com, the online ad agency that kindly enables advertisers to support my work, is up with the 2005 blog reader survey. Why would I ask you to take about four minutes of your time to complete the survey?
Two reasons. First, question 16 asks you to note that you came to the survey via this blog, yoco :: college basketball. The data, therefore, goes not only to BlogAds.com, but also (a couple days later and as an fyi) to me. Second, the more BlogAds.com knows about blog readers, the easier time the agency will have recruiting advertisers.
