Bloggers Bracket scenarios

According to my number-crunching, here are the winners of the Bloggers Bracket under each of the eight title-game scenarios:

Illinois over UNC: Andrew Long
UNC over Illinois: Andrew Long
Illinois over MSU: William Seltz
MSU over Illinois: Craig Cowell
Louisville over UNC: Bret LaGee
UNC over Louisville: Chad Dotson
Louisville over MSU: Bret LaGee
MSU over Louisville: Bret LaGee

Diaries ::

Sorry, I'm not ambitious enough to try and figure out the Top Three under each scenario. :) But there are your hypothetical $50 winners.

Bottom line: in the Final Four, if BOTH favorites win or if BOTH underdogs win, the suspense will be over (Andrew Long clinches in the former case, Bret LaGee in the latter). If, however, the championship game is a #1-seed vs. a non-#1-seed, the suspense will continue, and we won't know the pool champion until we know the national champion.

One more good possession from Arizona and I might just look as smart as I think I am.

Best of luck Andrew, William, Craig, and Chad.
