I've already written and blogged about the number of NCAA Tournament bids the Pac-10 will this season receive.

After last night, a persuasive case can (again) be made that the league deserves eight bids.

Stanford crushed USC and Washington (finally) beat Oregon, significantly boosting both teams' RPIs.

Cal, however, is firmly on the bubble. The Golden Bears must win one - if not two - of their next four (against USC and Cal, then at Washington and Washington State).

The thing about the Pac-10 this year: There are no guaranteed wins. Ok, maybe ASU, but that's it. Given that, it would still be tough to justify 8 teams receiving bids, but if Cal and UW pick there games up, ya never know.

As a Cougar fan, I'm just thrilled to be playing so well. And I can't wait for tomorrow night's game with Oregon!
