Thoughts After Early Action...

...I bet Stanford's performance made Syracuse, FSU, Drexel and West Virginia feel a lot better.

Diaries ::

Stanford probably didn't belong in the NIT much less the NCAA tournament and they proved. Louisville's 20-point victory actually made the game look a lot closer than it was. So much for those "tournament" reputations. Not to take anything away from a completely dominating performance from Louisville. Is Louisville-TAMU the early round main event? I'd say so.

Meanwhile I like what Maryland showed. I had a feeling Davidson would be tough but the Terps never seem to panic, even after falling behind at the start of the second half. This team still hasn't played its best basketball.

Boston College and Texas Tech played a nice spirited game. I was pulling for the 10-7 upset here but sadly there will be just one final Bob Knight press conference this year.
