Dunkadelic Terminology 'Real-Word' or 'Slang'

The Dunkadelic terminology is celebrating it's 10th Year Anniversary. Is the basketball and hip-hop inspired term a real-word or slang.

Diaries ::

The 2nd Annual 2006-07 College All-Dunkadelic Team were announced after the NBA Draft June 30th. Greg Oden, Kevin Durant, and Al Horford the top 3 picks of the draft were also selected to the All-Dunkadelic Team. This was another in a long list of ways that I have seen this term "Dunkadelic" used. Now here comes the debate is the dunkadelic-term a real-word or just slang. If you ask a kid from the hip-hop culture you may get one answer, and if you ask that same question to a 40-year old suburban adult with a degree you may get another answer. The culture-clash is what makes this interesting and argued over. Is the term credible or is it just street language.

The creator of the Dunkadelic-term says, "it's the most versitle term in the world of basketball."

Dunkadelic definition:
(adj) the fusion of basketball and hip-hop inspired by the cultural aesthetics of urban style, fashion, and attitude. highlight dunks or dunker's to music or rap lyrics.
