Tired of all the publicity about the same teams over and over.

There are 347 teams that compete in the NCAA Divison I College Basketball level, yet all we do is hear about is the same 30 teams over and over.

Each of the 347 teams practice 6 days a week and play around 2 to 3 games a week.

Since this is amateur sport, shouldn't there be more of a coverage and "Celebration of the Effort"?

Diaries ::

On Thursday night 8 of what would be considered the worst basketball teams in the country were in competition.  Even though they don't win much, the efforts they put out are not second rate.  Some of these players can really compete.

A website Loserr.com has a basketball section that follows and ranks the 20 worst teams in college basketball and highlights the effort of some of their better players who get NO recognition nationally.

This is by far one of my favorite websites when I think of what amature college basketball was meant for.

This area shows the top 20's http://loserr.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=68&Itemid=59

And this area shows the recent games played during the week:

I would love to start a discussion on this with others who love the game
